Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in Baby Ruth pieces and dry ingredients until well blended. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
